WINE Maintainer
Hey, another great episode is out and ready for consumption. First of all, I want to say thank you to Scott Ritchie who blessed us with his presence on thursday for a rockin interview with the WINE package maintainer for Ubuntu. And, just like Peter said, he answered questions even before we asked them so Scott made things easy for us. But, on an even better note, we now know the major advantage over a 1.0 stable release wersus the regular run of the mill point releases:) Have a good time with this episode and leave a comment for either me, Peter or Scott, see ya!

Just make sure you’re coming back after a couple weeks. Was sad to hear that LugRadio is ending so you guys better stick around.
After using Ubuntu 6.10 for 20 months, I am still discovering something new. Finally set up Ekiga and an account with Diamondcard to check it out. Easy to set up and calls from PC to phone works good. The only hassle is getting use to the 800ms delay, but calls are cheap and good sound quality. Even though my webcam works I haven’t tried a video call yet.
Looking forward to Ubuntu for MID’s. I hope Dell will release a Ubuntu model in Australia.
Enjoying your podcast, keep them coming.

Peter,
I was surprised to to hear in this episode that you have been attending Aikido classes. I took Aikido many moons ago and earned my black belt. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time practice anymore.
I have tried out several flavors of Linux over the last 3 or 4 years, but I love Ubuntu, and it’s little brother Edubuntu.
I have also played World of Warcraft a couple times. Way more fun than I have time for. What server and guild do you play in?
I love the podcast. With WOW, Ubuntu, and Aikido you rank in the “way cool” category in my book, despite what Harlem says.
