Hello,
in your last show you talked about google and using a lot of their services. A few people are worried about that (including me), but for some of their services there are good alternatives.
Since a few month now, I am using Tiny Tiny RSS instead of Google Reader for my rss feeds. It's a great app, easy to install on your own server and nice to use.

Hi guys
It is me again with some more stuff for you to ponder from websites around the world.
Here is a link that may be of interest:
Microsoft might be betting big on Windows 7, the next version of its flagship operating system, but to Ubuntu Linux founder Mark Shuttleworth, the upcoming release is really an opportunity for Linux to shine.
Another link that may interest you is this one:

Greetings from Australia!
Greetings from Australia! Another enjoyable podcast. Well done.
Running the liveCD of Ubuntu 9.04beta, very nice. The previous alpha didn't work for me because of the intel chip issue, but now it's fixed. Quite like the new wave theme, which they will no doubt refine and improve for the 10.04 LTS version.
Upgrade on 64bit from Intrepid to Jaunty was smooth
The upgrade was seamless and I really like the new GDM theme and background. I prefer Jaunty's simple wallpaper over the coffee stain wallpaper that got shipped with Intrepid.
Thought I might pass along a fix to one problem I had with Jaunty. When I tried using
System > Administration > System Testing the program would crash. The program uploads Canonical information about your system to help make Ubuntu better. All you need to do to fix the problem is change the program's ini file located at /etc/checkbox.d/checkbox.ini.
Here is a link to the bug on launchpad if you are having this problem with your system.

Dave Murphy posted this fix in the comments that worked for my system.
