Shownotes
So, in this episode talked about a few noteworthy news items. Not so much different than any other of our past episodes. I guess the only thing different was when I posted this blog post and the next one. If you are new or have just stumbled on this "blog/podcast" then you might not know that the podcast will be going on hiatus for three weeks starting the 18th of December and extending to the beginning of the year. Peter and I did a couple of podcasts in advance and I am blogging this and using the timestamp feature in Wordpress, which, allows me to write this post earlier and then post this on this date. Pretty neat feature and I might be using this more often:)
Here are the links to this weeks podcast most of which are related to the news and a couple of links to answers for various emails and voice mails we got. Thanks for subscribing to the podcast!

I have a comment regarding Adobe offering rpm packages instead of deb packages of there flash player.
It doesn't always work, but the majority of the time one can convert an rpm to a deb with alien. Just 'sudo apt-get install alien'. Then it's 'alien packagename.rpm' to convert it.
It might not work in this case but it's worth a try. :)
@heathenx Yes, point well
@heathenx
Yes, point well taken. Just as one could with the tarball or gzip to compile it as well. Thanks for leaving this message and it was very useful:)
