Moneydance

Peter,

What happened to the review of Moneydance you were going to do?

I've been a long time user of Microsoft Money and currently run it in a virtual machine on my Linux box. However, ever since I switched to Linux and Mac I've been looking for a good alternative that would run natively in these environments.

Now that Microsoft has discontinued Money, the pressure is really on to find something else. I thought about switching to Quicken, but it doesn't run on Linux that I know of and I have heard a lot of bad things about the Mac version.

I know there are free alternatives such as GnuCash, but I prefer a personal finance manager with some commercial support behind it.

Anyway, after the prior episode when you mentioned that you were trying out Moneydance and would comment on your experience, I was hoping to hear how things were going in the latest episode.

If you don't mind, would you talk about your experience with Moneydance in the next episode so I could decide if it is something I would like to try?

Thanks for the podcasts. I always enjoy and look forward to them.

Todd
