Being Sick on St. Valentine's Day

Posted by Harlem

I knew it was going to happen.  The timing was right, the weather was perfect, the stress level was at an all time high, and I have five kids that bring home more than just their homework.  I have been sick, no really!  I have had the strangest symptoms that would cause Dr. House himself to have even more sleepless nights.  But, let me alleviate any fears that you have, I pretty much think it is the flu.  Admittedly, a weak version of it, hence, I am still working but too tired to do much of anything else.  It started with a fever, then headaches, then bodyaches after the fever subsided.  In the meantime, I think I caught a cold in my weakend immune state.  So that also means my sinuses are stuffed, I am coughing up some ungodly things and I can't sleep.  All the more hampering my recovery ability.  All this to tell you I will have a podcast out next week while I try to recover from this nasty illness.  Hope everyone has a great St. Valentine's Day and talk to you guys next week.
